My sister-in-law had her first baby this past December, a beautiful, healthy baby boy named Jeffrey. Being that this was her very first baby, my sister-in-law looked to me for new mom and baby wisdom, and in knowing the absolute must-haves. By the time her son arrived, she had everything a baby could ever possibly need: baby gear, toys, clothes, diapers, bath products - she was set.
But she overlooked one thing.
As a breastfeeding mom, she constantly felt uncomfortable about her wardrobe. She didn't have ONE nursing or bra tank before she had Jeffrey, so I took it upon myself to stock her up on the fashionable essentials that I knew she needed (badly!) when I came to visit my new nephew in January. I introduced her to the best… Bravado.
Bravado's Essential Nursing Tanks have always been my go-to item for all moms that are breastfeeding. They are the most comfortable, most versatile and most fabulous item a new mom could ever want. Your body changes so much throughout your pregnancy, and it continues to go through changes post-pregnancy, so it's wonderful to have an item that works with your body and adjusts and allows you the access you need to feed your child. No pun intended, but it's essential.
With the Essential Nursing Tanks you get - built-in bra, longer length in the tank, super soft, high-quality, easy and full access and discreet nursing clips. But my favorite feature?
Oh, yes… the colors. I am a fashionista after all!
A gorgeous new shade is launching today - Turquoise. There's just something about the color turquoise. It's serene. It's peaceful. And it's the kind of color that's perfect for the summer. I always think of the ocean when I see the color Turquoise, and I genuinely always feel relaxed. It's just that kind of color. I was just so excited to see the launch of this shade and excited to let me sister-in-law know that there's a new tank color that she absolutely needs to get!
So what can one wear with these new Turquoise Essential Nursing Tank?
Here are 3 ways to rock one this summer:
Lounging by the Lake
I'm all about summer whites, especially by the lake. Pair your Turquoise Nursing Tank with some gorgeous white linen drawstring pants and match with a crisp white blouse (open button front for easy access), white sweater wrap or white cardigan. Pull the look together by adding some fabulous accessories all in the turquoise family - rings, bracelets and necklaces. I love the idea of tossing on a straw Fedora, too and simple gladiator sandals. So easy and so perfect for a summer day into evening.
I wanted to do something really fun and different for a date night, especially in the summer. I found this black/white striped skirt and thought it would be perfect! The Turquoise Nursing Tank is just the added dose of color that it needs, it truly makes it POP! I also wanted to pair it with a classic top, so I found 3 different kinds of layers you could wear with it - all in the color black. For shoes, I wanted a heel, so the espadrilles for the summer just made perfect sense, along with the clutch and polished jewelry!
I wanted to find something with gorgeous rich colors to match with the Turquoise Nursing Tank, and as soon as I saw this Tie Dye scarf, I knew it was it! I love the mixture of the colors and the mixing of classic pieces with trendy items. The blazer is your perfect classic it, paired with the bold scarf and funky jewelry. The jeans are simple roll-up cuffs, paired with some ultra-fun espadrilles! And I had to find the perfect bag… and I found it with this oversized brown leather hobo! Such a fabulous outfit for a night at the Arts!
