With her baby due any day now, April is equal parts excited and nervous.
Around this time of year, people start talking about the things they are grateful for. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, not because we get to eat lots of yummy food (although I LOVE THAT) but because It's a time when people slow down and take a moment to smell the roses. Today I sit here and honestly I feel so grateful for my nursing relationship with my son.
Things definitely got off to a shaky start and there were times I thought I would give up but here we are seven months later and we are still nursing. I am so thankful for my support system, my husband, my friends and the bravado community because without so much love in my corner I wouldn't have found the strength to keep at it. it feels so wonderful to know that baby Aiden is getting the very best I can offer.
Recently, my husband told me "you are always talking about breastfeeding" and It's true... I am so passionate about nursing and not only has it become a Passion of mine, I have truly become an advocate of it. I recently prepared two packages for friends having babies and i included a nursing tank, mother's milk tea, breast pads and lanolin cream. I hope that I can help encourage other women to give breastfeeding a try and I am so grateful for that opportunity.
We have had many highs and lows on this journey so I sit here today so very grateful that i could overcome the challenges and continue nursing my son. I hope to take this gratitude and pay it forward!9:00am on Tuesday November 15
Love your packaging idea! Nursing for me is a privilege.
