MaryAnn Scandiffio
MaryAnn Scandiffio, Registered Nutritionist, works with both Individual and corporate clients to create Nutrition packages to suit their needs and budget. MaryAnn specializes in Eating for Energy, Sports Nutrition, Family nutrition and Mom and Baby nutrition.
MaryAnn works with businesses to bring a nutrition perspective to their staff and their customers. Offering a series of talks dedicated to the Mom and Baby segment, she offers classes at community and retail locations in Toronto on nutrition throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as infant food introduction and toddler nutrition. While working with Toronto-based nursing bra manufacturer, Bravado! Designs, MaryAnn was responsible for creating and delivering presentation material for the retail boutiques that make up the bulk of their business. She has also created and presented a Lunch and Learn program which has been used at the launch of several programs for new moms, including the launch of Apple Seeds in New York City (an indoor playground space in Manhattan), and the launch of Mothers and Menus in New York City (a book about creating nutritious meals for new moms).
MaryAnn Scandiffio also works with the Toronto Newsgirls Boxing Club to offer nutrition consulting to the boxers (Boxing Ontario and National competitors), and recreational gym members, as well as participating in the Shape Your Life program. At the club Boot Camps MaryAnn gives a 10 minute nutrition talk on a different topic each day.
MaryAnn holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Toronto, as well as a Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, and is a Registered Nutritionist in good standing with the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants.
MaryAnn is the mother to 4 children, and stepmother to 2, and resides in Toronto.
