The Essential Nursing Tank - What You'll Love:
- Built in Bra: Proprietary design gives you a full support (molded) built in bra on the inside, a beautiful shape and cottony comfort, all in one!
- Great for nursing in public: perfect to wear every day - nursing in public, around the house, going to yoga class, lounging or as sleepwear.
- Long in length: Imagine…you’ll look terrific, feel great and it is easy to nurse in public because it provides tummy coverage where you need it. Our nursing tank is long giving you a beautiful and flattering shape that’s fitted but not clingy.
- Maternity Tank and a Nursing Tank: Fabric gently stretches while retaining its shape after washing. A two for one value as you can wear it as a maternity tank while pregnant and then continue to wear it as a nursing tank while breastfeeding.
- Cotton Nursing Tank: Soft, high-quality cotton/spandex outer fabric isn’t see through, even in white
- Full Access: Cups unclip at the shoulder and drop down and away from your body to give baby full access to your breast, providing you and your baby with skin-to-skin contact which is essential, specially when establishing a breastfeeding rhythm.
- Discreet Nursing Clips: allow full breastfeeding access and only you will know this is a nursing tank.

I bought this tank right before my first child was born and I loved it. The coverage and length was perfect for a new nursing Mom. When I became pregnant with my second child two years later I decided to purchase another in black. I bought the same size, but it seems like the style must have changed from the version I purchased before. The length on this new tank is a good 4 inches shorter. It is not long enough to cover my belly during pregnancy and most likely not after I give birth either. I am extremely dissapointed because I thought that considering the money spent the product should be consistent. I do not think I will be buying this product again.

I wish I could tell you how excited I am about this tank. I'm a 36G so I had a tough (strike that, IMPOSSIBLE) time finding a nursing tank that would fit well with my first baby. Well, I just got this one in today and it.is.PERFECT!!!! Obviously if you're large busted like me, you're not going to have the support to go hiking or running in this, but why would you want to do that anyway?? :) I've already decided this is what I'm wearing in the hospital, and now I'm going to have to find the money to buy one in every color, haha! :) Seriously, well done Bravado. You've made a loyalist out of me with all the amazing products I've bought from you.
Jessica 2011-03-18 23:24:21
I love this nursing tank. It's pretty much the only nursing tank that doesn't make my boobs sag to my belly button! (lol) It's SO comfortable for sleep, play or whatever. I also like that it's not skin tight on the bottom, which is much more flattering post partum. Every mom needs one of these!
Carrie 2011-03-15 00:45:19
I just bought one of the tanks in black, and I have to say I love it so far! It's more supportive than I thought it would be (I have the body silk bra and the tank is more supportive than that). I'm a 34 DD and although I wouldn't go jogging in this tank, I think it's good for lounging, or doing low-impact activities. It is slightly low-cut in the front, so if you are a very modest person you may not like it. The length is great, long enough to keep me covered, and although it's fitted, it doesn't cling. All in all I like the tank, I wish it were cheaper, but I am satisfied!
Mykel Zwayer 2011-03-02 16:49:40
Love this nursing tank! I've bought other nursing tank tops, but nothing compares to this one. Once I had my second baby, I bought 3 more!! This tank is long enough to go under any shirt and the straps don't slide. I would highly recommend to any nursing mom.
Karen Anne Burns 2011-02-26 14:37:46
I love this tank!! It is the only tank I have found that fits me properly!! It is super comfortable!
Claudia M 2011-02-26 11:58:39
This is an amazing Tank! I have 2 black ones and people are always surprised when i tell them it's a nursing tank ;) i had 2 friends buying them who are not nursing ! lol :)
Angela Higgins 2011-02-25 22:16:37
The only nursing tank for large-busted women! This is really the only tank on the market that is supportive and does not compress your breast tissue if you are a G cup.
Monica V. 2011-02-25 18:26:41
This was the first nursing cami that I purchased and it's very comfortable. You can wear all day and night without feeling like you don't have a full support bra on. It's wonderful!
Deanna Samson 2011-02-25 16:55:54
I love this tank. I felt a lot of support, create for wearing right after birth when I was a bit self conscience of my belly and still wanted coverage and be able to feed my little girl. I am expecting my second and the tanks are still in great shape and look forward to using them again for breastfeeding. Bonus is that these tanks are also perfect after breastfeeding to wear as a cami or just around the house.
Meredith de Castro 2011-02-25 13:48:45
I have one of these tank tops and love it! I used it with my first child and now that I'm pregnant again, I will be using it with my second child. It's so comfortable and easy to maneuver when it comes to breastfeeding your child. I also liked that this tank top fit larger breasted women very well. Thanks Bravado for making such a great nursing tank top!!
Xiao Ai 2011-02-25 13:18:14
my favorite tank ! it supplies enough cup, good elasticity, supportive, and the style is sexy! even wearing the White seems so thin, so fit. must buy!
J Sorrells 2011-02-25 12:30:13
This tank IS essential! And it's the best one out there. I have 4 and love them all.
Melissa Williams 2011-02-25 10:43:59
I have 6 of these and wear them almost everyday. I love, love, love them. I have been nursing for 10 months and they have held up great.
debbie hubbard 2011-02-25 10:32:49
This is an absolute necessity for the nursing mom. It's very comfortable and the length is actually long enough to provide coverage of the waist unlike other brands I looked at. It's great for in the summer to only have the one layer, but it's also works perfectly in the colder months with a cardigan overtop.
Christine M. 2011-02-25 09:43:40
I only have one of these and I love, love, love it. I want one if every color because it makes it so much easier to nurse without exposing skin!
Kellie 2011-02-24 23:33:33
I love these bras! They are figure flattering, supportive and super comfy!
Erin Norris 2011-02-24 22:32:09
My go-to! I wear one nearly every day - it makes breastfeeding so easy when I'm on the go.
rina razanakoto 2011-02-24 22:17:10
Really goog nursing tank. I've been using it since my 3rd month of pregnancy and i've been loving the support. I usually wear a H/I cup so i really appreciate when the girls are in place in the morning. I still wish they would be available in larger cup sizes since my baby boy is not there yet and i'm not too sure how it's gonna go the first few weeks...
Nicole C 2011-02-24 21:50:42
Love my tank and it is super comfortable. I bought it in black and mostly use it under cardigans. Its the best nursing tank that I've found that is easy to snap off and on quickly with one hand.
Jessie M 2011-02-24 21:10:16
I have been nursing for 13 months and I live in these! I wish I would have not been so cheap and just bought these from the get go. The length is great and and the quality is awesome. I wear them under everything and they are great by themselves in the summer.
CAdy Linn 2011-02-24 19:50:33
This is by far the best nursing cami I have found. It is the only tank available with a full bra ...........unlike those other flimsy shelf camis. It offers great support and the full drop down front offers great skin to skin contact. I have enjoyed these nursing tanks both during pregnancy and post partum. They are stylish, and wash and wear well. I recommend them to anyone who asks!
Kelsey Myers 2011-02-24 19:48:34
I don't own one of these yet...but I swear at some point I will, they seem so comfy! Finding nursing tank tops that don't look cheap can be really hard and this one seems to fit the bill. :)
Heather Brown 2011-02-24 19:06:52
This nursing tank is the bomb!! I just gave birth to my first child two weeks ago and it has made everything so much easier. Being a busty gal, it's hard to find any top with a built-in bra that actually fits and feels good. This one does that, is super easy to use for feeding times and is heavy duty enough that it feels like it will last a long time. It has to, because I've been wearing it every other day :) Gotta order more!!!!
Kenyon Nahvipour 2011-02-24 18:49:00
I have two of these and they are fantastic in every way except that they run a bit small and ride up in the back. Regardless, I wear them every day in the summer!
Jessica M. 2011-02-24 18:47:56
This nursing tank is the best one out there! It is supportive and comfortable, easy to unhook, and looks great!
simone traverse 2011-02-24 17:52:38
I practically lived in these tanks during the 2.5 years I nursed my son. LOVE them and wear them still as they have held up that well. They are the only tank with full access that supports milk boobs. Buy them for everyone I know who is expecting and hope they never change!
Joanna Stokes 2011-02-24 17:27:16
I wore this tank a lot around the house and underneath tee shirts out and about. It was great to not expose my stomach while feeding. I wouldn't wear this tank top on it's own however. It was a bit low cut in the front. But I am a fan of this tank top. There is really nothing else that compares on the market. I am a big believer in having the right wardrobe for bf'ing. This is definitely part of mine.
A Johnson 2011-02-24 17:24:30
I lived in these while nursing my first child. I'm expecting my second now (in July) and will certainly be buying more, even though my first 2 held up incredibly well after many washings and wearings. I tried several brands and found these the most comfortable, supportive and stylish. I wore them alone with capris, as a layering piece, and as sleepwear. Well worth the price as you don't need a bra underneath.
Amanda Chappell 2011-02-24 17:11:07
I now have 5 nursing tanks. They fit better than any bra/tank I've ever had. I love the colours! I have huge breasts (size F) and I can work out in these and feel supported. They also don't push in from the sides, which is a problem I've had with other bras while nursing. When the bras pushed in from the sides, I ended up having blocked milk ducts, which can be extremely painful and uncomfortable. I found the sizing charts to be very good, and the call centre to be very helpful. I also bought my first one while I was pregnant, wearing it while 9 months pregnant and now postpartum it still maintains it's shape and isn't stretched at all. The only thing I've found is the nursing clips are a little hard to re-attach with one hand. They're just fine to un-hook though with one hand, which is when I'm in a hurry anyways. I'm so glad I bought these tanks. I now live in them, and intend to continue wearing them well beyond nursing!
Olivia Martel 2011-02-24 16:56:01
I loved my nursing tanks used them the first time and I'm about to buy a couple new ones for the second child. Excellent product.
Kate Walker 2011-02-24 16:36:20
This tank has great support, but I agree that it doesn't have enough coverage, esp for the more volumptuous woman. I would love to see it not so low cut.
Teri Schwartz 2011-02-24 16:21:52
I LOVED these. I had four of them for my first child and just bought another because I'm expecting my second. My daughter had a cleft palate and couldn't nurse, but I used bravado bras and tanks to pump for her for 7 months. These tanks were great alone in the summer, or under clothes in colder months, flattering, and the fabric holds up beautifully!
Tara D 2011-02-24 16:07:04
I have this tank in 4 different colors. I was able to wear them while I was pregnant as well as after I gave birth. They are so comfortable and make it so convinient for breastfeeding! I'd recommend them to anyone!
emily custard 2011-02-24 15:55:06
I love these tanks! I have two from my first baby and one from my last and practically live in them. A must have.
Christa Demment Gonzalez 2011-02-24 15:09:02
I have three of these- two have held up very well, the black and the brown. The purple one is stretched out so much and has these little spots where the milk leaked that are now permanently stretchy. I don't wear that one except under many layers now. I guess I just liked that one too much!
Katie Kessler 2011-02-24 14:14:21
This is the best nursing tank I was able to find. It is so comfortable compared to others. It also comes in great colors. I definitely recommend this product.
Rebecca Mann 2011-02-24 14:09:41
I love the variety of colors these come in, so nice to have such a selection!
Tiffany Wilkins 2011-02-24 14:05:40
I think this tank works well under clothing but it is too low cut for me to feel comfortable wearing out.
Hilary 2011-02-24 13:58:06
These are a must for any nursing mom!! They make nursing in public so easy and are great for summer and layering. I did go up a size so that the V wasn't too low to be worn on it's own (I'm a 34DD, bought the 34F/G). I've got 4 and have worn them steadily throughout the past year.
At first I thought they were too pricey for a tank top, but they are totally worth the money as they last and are supportive enough that you don't need a bra as well.
Josi Hauschild 2011-02-24 13:55:05
I have 5 of these tanks. The length is perfect and I love the fact that they are actually supportive enough to wear instead of a bra. I have tried other nursing tanks and they weren't nearly adequate for support. I do wish you still had the dark purple and I wish you'd offer a heather grey color!
Monic Leclerc 2011-02-24 13:54:45
This is an amazing product! I have 2 and always get comments about how great it looks, even from women who are not nursing. It's incredibly practical, comfortable and very well made. Will definitely buy more for my next baby!
Jeanna F 2011-02-24 13:51:11
I lived in these when I was nursing! The bamboo one was the softest and a bit longer - shich is nice, becaue I'm tall. The tanks make it very easy to nurse and keep coverend up as your belly does not hang out etc. I also liked the latch mechanism - it was easy to use with one hand and I liked that the whole breast panel comes down - not just a hole for the nipple (I don't like the 'peek-a-boob' kind;). Expecitng #2 and will be suing these again soon!
Danielle Casillo 2011-02-24 13:47:38
I could not live without these tanks - I think I have one in every color! I'm nursing my second baby now, and my tanks again have proven to be the most comfortable and functional item in my wardrobe.
Crystal Watkins 2011-02-24 13:43:32
I love these they are soo comfortable and a great price!!!!!
hether 2011-02-24 13:41:22
These are the best nursing tanks and have great support, even for larger chests. They are long enough and are easy to open with one hand
jennifer debin 2011-02-24 13:40:26
I literally wear this every single day and night. Love it!
Carla 2011-02-24 13:38:05
Love this tank, it is actually supportive unlike all of the other nursing tanks I have tried. It is also wonderful for nursing in public since it allows you to lift your shirt and not have your belly showing to anyone nearby. We are going on a plane tomorrow and this tank will be essential for sure so that I can nurse in my seat easily without being fully exposed.
Lili Hill 2011-02-24 13:30:30
I couldn't have survived breastfeeding without a nursing tank! I needed the full belly coverage for my own modesty (did not come through the pregnancy without stretch marks and excess weight) so the tank was perfect for me to keep my belly covered without having to lift a shirt to get my breats out for my lil' one to nurse. This is a must-have item for any nursing mom who still wants to get out and do stuff without feeling tied to being at home for fear of exposure! Easy, discreet, no fumbling nursing!
Charity A. 2011-02-24 13:29:52
The Jade is a gorgeous color and the tank surprisingly provides a lot of support for a larger chest!!
Leah 2011-02-24 13:16:09
To all pregnant ladies: you can't have enough of these!
christine law 2011-02-24 13:12:07
These are fabulous!!! I live in Georgia and nursed my youngest through two very long hot summers. I had 3 of these tops and wore them constantly. They are very comfortable, sufficiently supportive and look fashionable. I am not nursing my daughter anymore, but will still wear this top this coming summer.
THERESA ROSENTHAL 2011-02-24 13:12:06
I thought I would really love a nursing tank but like a previous poster wrote, it's too exposing. The only time tanks work for me is if I'm wearing a shirt over them, which defeats the purpose in the summertime.
andreah mcdougall 2011-02-24 13:01:05
i love my 8 bravado nursing tanks I've been nursing for the past 33 months and am now nursing my almost 5 month old second daughter I love all bravado bras but especially love the ease especially for nursing in public of the nursing tanks
Rachael H. 2011-02-24 12:48:46
Love this for nursing!
Mikayla Dalton 2011-02-24 12:34:53
Perfect! I hate having to wear a bra under a tank. This solves the problem, in a wonderful array of colors too!
Sarah 2011-02-24 12:34:12
I love these tanks. They fit my somewhat unusual size (I'm small with large breasts, and finding good nursing wear for my size has been surprisingly difficult) without looking like a bag or a dress on me - and that alone is a big deal! I also really like the structure - it's much more supportive than a shelf-tank, so it's comfortable and flattering, and it avoids the unibreast look too!
Katie 2011-02-24 12:31:01
I have two of these and I will be ordering at least another 2 more when baby number 2 arrives!
Rachel 2011-02-24 12:27:58
These are great tanks, I have two so far but am planning on buying a couple more. Definitely a good purchase to get while you are still pregnant. (It might be a little short over your belly at the end though). They have really good built in support -- I don't go running in them, but I have worked out on the elliptical and do low-impact sports in them. Also the tank is very comfortable so I can wear it all day long and all night if need be (but I really do prefer the Original Nursing bra for that). I kind of wish the clasp was like the other Bravado bras but this style they use in the tank is probably less conspicuous. I do have some trouble clipping it back with one-hand after nursing but perhaps with practice I'll get the hang of it. Also the cut can be a little revealing -- no worries about baring too much, but there will be some cleavage showing.
Sonia 2011-02-24 12:19:45
I agree with a previous comment...not great for wearing by itself if you're well-endowed. A little too revealingly low-cut. I also didn't like the shape it gave me. Would probably work better for smaller sizes (I'm a 36 F/G).
Seema 2011-02-24 12:19:36
I can't live without these, especially the black one! I think I wore exclusively these the whole time I was on maternity leave, with a cardigan on top.
Michele Fishel 2011-02-24 12:17:00
I live in these tanks, every single day since my son was born last summer. I absolutely love them but I wish the straps for the larger sizes were thicker and maybe had padding. I wear the 34 D/E and the straps dig into my shoulders. If I loosen them, I don't have enough support. These tanks fit better than any other bra or bra top I've tried and I suggest them to every pregnant/nursing mom I know or meet.
Win Wakulchyk 2011-02-24 12:10:55
The neckline is quite low, so it's definitely a layering piece rather than a summertime standalone top. But, they are super-comfy.
Sara Osborne 2011-02-24 12:09:55
I'm a HUGE FAN of the Bravado original nursing bra (I've probably spent 2 or 3 years of my life in it so far!!!), so I decided to give this a shot. I LOVE IT!!! I have it in white and chocolate--both versatile colors. I've used it for post-partum recovery (stretchy enough in the tummy for that!), layering under a thin shirt or for cold weather, sleepwear, etc.... I was a little hesitant at buying 2 because of the price, but my instincts were correct---it would be well worth every penny!!! Snap clips are just as easy to use as the bras and it fits just like the original bra to me. Love, love, love these!
Sarah Bellefontaine 2011-02-24 12:00:53
I have one and wear it so often I'm going to be getting another 2! They're exceptionally comfortable, and also work well under non-nursing sweaters to help cover up while nursing in public.
Elizabeth Brooks 2011-02-24 12:00:15
I ordered 3 of these Essential Nursing Tanks and they are awesome. I am 5 months pregnant and they fit great, so I know they will fit great after baby is born. I have breastfed in the past and know how important the right nursing wardrobe is. This are going to be amazing! I can't wait!
melanie odom 2011-02-24 11:54:35
Thinking about purchasing this. My due date is approaching and I know these will be very helpful in the birthing center stay:)
Tara 2011-02-21 18:26:47
While I do like wearing this for it's support. It has a deep front which shows too much cleavage for those who prefer modesty. Also, if wearing this alone as they suggest you can; when you nurse you must drop the whole front side down fully exposing yourself. So this is something to take into consideration before buying.
Hanh Pham 2011-02-03 19:08:25
Comfy! I bought 2 for my first pregnancy and wore them all the time. I'm buying 2 more for this pregnancy. Great for nursing.I recommend buying a slightly larger band size only because it makes it easier to get in and out of the tank top otherwise it might be a tighter fit.
Vanessa Taylor 2010-09-24 17:57:06
These are so awesome - you can wear the tank under cardigans, and no need for a bra as the tank does it all. LOOOVE how I can breastfeed without lifting up my shirt and showing the world my belly. Also, there is nothing getting in the way of breastfeeding once you undo the latch!
Stephanie Cox 2010-09-24 17:47:35
Great tank! I'm a 38DDD, so I tend to have trouble with bras. This tank has been great for hanging around, sleeping, and... SWIMMING! I would absolutely love to have this tank in a pool-friendly lycra blend, since I've bleached out my beautiful teal tank in the pool. I still
Victoria Barrio 2010-09-22 19:33:23
These are great for going out in public or wearing to sleep.
Caroll Foster 2010-09-03 09:45:10
I had 3 of these when I was nursing and loved them. Great for nursing in public and so very comfortable.
