What you’ll love about the Original Nursing Bra:
- Cotton Nursing Bra: breathable and promotes healthy breast tissue. The super soft cotton fabric stretches and adapts to your changing shape - making it perfect as a nursing and maternity bra.
- Double Cup and Double Band: unique double-cup/double-band feature gives you the confidence to purchase while pregnant and experience the enjoyment of continuing to wear after birth during the early stages of breastfeeding.
- Comfort Nursing Bra: sports-back design evenly distributes the weight of your breasts which helps make you comfortable. There are no hooks and eyes in the back which ensures comfort, even while you sleep
- Medium to Full Support: Wide under-elastic band evenly distributes weight and provides under-breast support. The Plus Style features a double fabric side panel for extra support.
- Full Access: Cups unclip at the shoulder and drop down and away from your body to give baby full access to your breast, providing you and your baby with skin-to-skin contact which is essential, specially when establishing a breastfeeding rhythm.
- A proprietary Bra Conversion Kit (BCK), is now attached to your Bravado Nursing Bra and can be used to convert it to a “regular bra” once your nursing journey is complete. For more information on the BCK, Click here.

Bought this bra as a postpartum(for swollen breast right after delivery) and sleep nursing bra... it is great for a sleep bra, but i dont like to wear it out. I am a 32DD and bought the small the band is to big, it slips up in the back and makes me look very frumpy/saggy. The seams on the side of the cups were torture for the first few days after delivery causing some bruising, and the fabric is very absorbent, so my nipples stick to the bra, i used lanolin and the bra is now stained and it seeped through and stained my shirts. It is very comfortable to sleep in though and supports well enough for around the house but not flattering

Wow, I really do not like this bra. It is so difficult to get on because you have to pull it over your head. It also has zero support and no where to put nursing pads, how is this a nursing bra? The whole style of it is retarded and I'm very disappointed. It is also made extremely small. I have never worn plus size clothing and I bought the largest size, which is way bigger than any bra I've worn: 46E, so why does this bra just fit? I have the straps fully extended, there's just something wrong with how it is made.

I find this bra to be pretty tight around the band. Hopefully it stretches out. I purchased this along wtih the Body Silk bra - comparing the two, the Body Silk bra is amazingly comfortable. I would even say moreso that the original.

Bought this bra and the body silk seamless when I was pregnant and while I live in the seamless, I was disappointed with this one. It's comfortable enough but doesn't offer much in the way of support so I can't wear it out of the house but then I also can't sleep in it as, like others have said, my top breast falls out of the cup when I'm on my side. Wouldn't buy this one again, but I do love the seamless and am going to try the bliss style now that bub is a bit older/sizing has settled down. Bravado, we need a nursing sports bra next please!!!

I bought this bra in store. It fits very well and is quite comfortable. That being said, I bought this bra to sleep in, when in bed on my side, my top breast slips nearly out of the cup and does not stay covered by my breast pads causing the occasional leakage onto the bra. This bra is very comfortable for day wear and is great under a t-shirt or a comfy day around the house.

I wore out my original Bravado nursing bras with my daughter 2 years, so when I found out I was expecting again, the first thing I did was order 3 new ones. They wash well, look nice under clothing, are very comfortable, and easy to clip/un-clip when the baby is starving.

I live overseas and before my son was born I went looking for nursing bras and found none! I was anxious about buying online and I found several recommendations but Bravado stood out to me and I decided to go with this brand. I was very happy with the bras I got and even more so that they FIT me great! You never know with online sizing and all! Haha! They were very comfortable, supportive and practical.
Kimberly Keller 2011-02-25 18:39:05
I already have one of these and it's by far my favorite bra! I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant and it fits perfectly. It's comfortable and doesn't constrict me.
Monica V. 2011-02-25 18:23:17
Love this bra!! It's the first nursing bra that I purchased and it's the most comfortable I've found. It's wonderful to spend the day and night in this bra. Just as comfortable as a Spanx bra...
misha Doubrovkine - Paskar 2011-02-25 12:26:51
I found this bra so comfortable I bought in 3 colors and recommended it to all my pregnant friends! They are also extremely durable and while I may purchase one or two more to refresh my bra collection for my second baby, they are still in such great condition I can wear them again. I also love that the leopard print is a fun design and helps to make you feel cute!

Awesome bra - it was the first nursing bra that I bought and the one I continue to use the most! Super comfortable to wear day or night, simply love this bra!
Paola 2011-02-24 17:07:36
I am currently using the nursing bras from Motherhood and although they fit great when I nursed my first child, it's a bit looser now and doesn't offer the support I need. I'm looking forward to trying this bra style and hoping for the comfort and support it advertises.

I had three of these bras that I took to the hospital with the birth of my first baby. These were awesome in the first few weeks with my son.
Brooke Church 2011-02-24 16:09:02
I wore this bra with my first baby. It was so comfy!
Lara Silvestre 2011-02-24 15:54:52
I love this bra,its a little tight under the breast but it is the best nursing bra i own,I wash it over and over to use it daily or every other day along with one other Bravado I have. I really really could use another. I have the L and I wear a 38 DD. so i would recommend getting a larger size.
Bridgette 2011-02-24 14:15:23
I love this bra! It has held up really well I am using it again with my second child.
Emily Lainson 2011-02-24 13:44:38
Love this bra. Only wish I had bought it right away and could have avoided plugged ducts and discomfort! I recommend this to all my pregnant friends. So easy to get a good fit, and so comfy! It is a great hospital/early breastfeeding bra, and -25 lbs and 10 months later I still love it. Also, great for first time moms - the cups fold entirely out of the way, so it's really easy to nurse in.
Charity A. 2011-02-24 13:30:46
The plus size is comfy but didn't feel like it provided enough support, I sent it back. Very cute though.
Corinne Waldron 2011-02-24 13:18:59
I tried one of these but didn't feel that I ordered the right size so I gave up on this particular style... I guess you need to make sure you are measured properly before buying!
THERESA ROSENTHAL 2011-02-24 13:17:22
This bra looks comfortable but I wish I could find a racer back bra to wear with different shirts.
Rachel 2011-02-24 12:36:56
I ordered this bra in two sizes while pregnant and then waited till I had the baby to decide which one to keep. The Small ended up fitting perfectly -- I was a 34D (went up to DD for a little while at first). This bra has been a great sleep bra and around the house bra. I don't like wearing it out so much because the lines of my nursing pads show through (although if you wear a thicker shirts this won't matter). The bra isn't the sexiest in the world but it sure gets the job done. It is my favorite nighttime nursing bra - I like that it has clips as opposed to just pulling it to the side. It also worked great when my milk came in as it can accommodate a range of cup sizes. I bought the bra in butterscotch but since I just wear it around the house I kind of wish I had gotten black or leopard -- something more fun!

Just after having my second son I went nursing bra shopping to find a bra that would be comfortable after having endured pain for more than a year with my first breastfeeding bras. I found Bravado bras at a local shop and have not put on another bra since! I would not wear anything else for nursing and recommend them to all my friends.
Rebecca L 2011-02-24 12:14:24
I love this bra especially for the first month of breastfeeding as well as for overnights. With the sudden increase in size when my milk first comes in I really needed something supportive by not restricting and this does the trick. I also like that I didn't have to go out and buy a much larger bra just to get through the first month, my regular nursing size stretched to accommodate.
Emily W 2011-02-24 12:11:19
I bought this bra after hearing rave reviews about it from a friend. I got it when I was almost 6 months pregnant with my first daughter and had ordered up a size to make sure it lasted for a while. Straight out of the box, it didn't fit. In addition, the fabric wasn't soft and the elastic band that goes around your ribs is scratchy.I had planned to return it for a different bra but then our daughter was born prematurely a few days later so I missed the opportunity. Although I wore it a few times in emergency situations, it's definitely not a good option for larger breasted women. It doesn't provide the support or shaping needed, unless you like being droopy and having a thick seam down the side of your breast. If you are larger breasted and think you want to try this bra, I'd recommend trying it on in a store before ordering online.

I can't wait to use this bra. My baby is due in 3 weeks and this bra feels SO comfortable!
Chantelle Bogaardt 2011-01-22 14:21:39
To the girl who wrote that she was put off from buying this bra because of her small band size and large bust. With my last baby I was a 32 DD/E and the S fit perfectly! Trust me you will love this bra it is great!!!
Carrie 2010-12-21 23:32:44
When I first began breastfeeding, I spent over $60 a bra. I recently bought my first Bravado, and it cost me about half the price and is so much better! I am an odd size (34F/G) and your S fits PERFECTLY! What a great find!
Stephanie 2010-12-09 13:30:58
I ordered 2 of the original nursing bras in size M . I am actually not even 100% certain what makes this style so comfortable - but I can tell you that every other bra I've worn for the past 3 weeks hurts right where the band goes, whether it's underwire or not. Your bra doesn't hurt - which is why I love it so much! Maybe it's the wide band you have? The other major plus of this style is how supportive it is for a non-underwire bra. I only wear underwire when not pregnant. I even sleep in them! But your original style is really nicely supportive even without the underwire. I also bought the silky smooth bra (actually I think it has a different official name, but it's the satin-y one with the removeable inserts) in size L. This one is not quite as comfy as the original style to me, but I think it will be a go-to item after I give birth and am nursing. I just haven't taken the original style off yet to give it a fair tryout!!

The Original Nursing Bra has three styles that accommodate three different cup ranges:Basic (B to C) - http://www.bravadodesigns.com/shop/the-original-nursing-bra-basic-stylePlus (C to DD) Double Plus (DD to G) - http://www.bravadodesigns.com/shop/the-original-nursing-bra-double-plus-styleThe Plus does not fit your cup range as a 32 DD/F but the Small would fit you perfectly and will give added support to your larger cup size.
Kari 2010-12-01 12:39:23
Ordered this bra using the sizing chart and it didn't fit right. I like the style and the idea, but it was the wrong fit. My suggestion is to call and have them help you with choosing the right size for your needs. I made the mistake of just going by the chart and ended up with two bras that do not fit correctly.
Alex D 2010-10-30 13:06:56
Really put off from ordering these by the fact they only come in S, M and L... I'm a 32DD/F and I just don't feel confident that they'll fit my odd combination of small rib cage and large cup size :(
