Account Executive, Global Markets

Role Objective:

At Bravado Designs, our purpose is to inspire every new Mom to breastfeed and help support her to succeed in her breastfeeding journey.

We believe that our success is dependent on the superior design in our products and a very strong collaboration and bond between our sales, design and marketing teams to deliver a great brand experience.

Reporting to the Manager, Global Business Development, the Account Executive is expected to profitably grow our International business by developing strong strategic partnerships within our existing markets. These strategic partnerships will be based on teaching customers to develop their business in partnership with Bravado by creating tailored solutions to meet their specific needs in their local market. The Account Executive must develop a strong knowledge of the maternity and nursing bra category as a “subject matter expert” to maintain brand leadership within the category.

The Account Executive will work closely with the Global Business Development Manager in providing market and Customer intelligence for developing and executing long-term, strategic business plans.




Account Management:

  • Actively engage in the management of Customers (direct accounts, distributors) in global markets outside of North America
  • Create long-term and sustainable growth for Bravado by actively engaging, building relationships, and inspiring Customers in the International market
  • Collaborates with the Marketing team to ensure that Bravado is providing key markets with marketing insights and programs required to grow their business
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Represent Customers internally within Bravado to ensure forecasts are accurate and budgets are communicated and approved
  • Summarize customer ‘events’ once a month and update the forecast team accordingly
  • Facilitate the resolution of operational challenges to meet Customer needs and timeframes.


Business Development:

  • Identify, open and onboard new Customers
  • Prepare strategies for business development that include exceptional execution and collaboration with Sales and Marketing to grow revenue and profitability for Bravado
  • Participate in conferences and trade shows

  • A Post-secondary degree, preferably with an International Business focus
  • 10 years+ experience in business development in B2B sales
  • Proven experience in International business
  • Proven track record opening new accounts, expanding into new distribution channels and designing successful retail programs and promotions
  • Working cross-culturally with external Customers and cross-functionally with internal partners
  • Previous work experience in consumer package goods; women’s apparel or accessories, intimate apparel or related products is preferred
  • Digital experience with eCommerce accounts
  • A skilled presenter with advanced writing skills
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to establish key contacts for prospective accounts, and build relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency to communicate, both orally and in writing, in other languages is an asset

Travel & Logistics Requirements:

  • International travel is required as needed
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and passport
  • Must work out of the Bravado Toronto office
  • Core office hours are Monday – Friday
  • Global nature of the position will require flexible hours outside core office hours
