Role Objective:

At Bravado Designs, our purpose is to inspire every new Mom to breastfeed and help support her to succeed in her breastfeeding journey.

We believe our success is dependent on the superior design in our products and a very strong collaboration and bond between our sales, design and marketing teams to deliver a great brand experience.

The Digital Business Manager is responsible for growing sales, profit and brand equity in all e-commerce channels where Bravado owns and controls the experience that Mom has with our Brand. This currently includes the direct e-commerce business globally and Amazon in North America. The results will be achieved by managing all digital properties, driving traffic and conversion, building the customer experience and conducting in-depth analysis to support the priorities of the business.

This role is fundamental in supporting the execution of digital strategy as well as assisting in building the omni-channel view of the customer i.e. the digital experience Mom has must be integrated with the overall product marketing strategy and brand communication strategy.

This is a crucial and cross-functional role within our organization. This role is accountable for the overall financial health of all our owned digital properties, which are vastly growing in both significance and contribution to our business.

 

Accountabilities:

Owned E-Commerce Channels - Bravado.com/ca/eu/uk/de:

  • Ongoing evaluation of e-commerce platforms and overall user experience against “Best in Class” benchmarks. Make recommendations to improve overall user experience that will deliver against defined KPI’s (i.e. traffic, bounce rate, database opt-ins, basket completion, page views, reviews)
  • Ensure all tools within portfolio (i.e. current platform and “theme”) provide an exceptional user experience, optimized for performance, and ultimately drive customer satisfaction and conversion. Assess and recommend a new “owned” platform, if required, that will efficiently meet our global market needs
  • Develop exceptional relationships (locally, with third party vendors, and with peers in international markets) to align on global standards and leverage the best processes and systems across markets
  • Use website and data analysis to provide insights that will deliver an engaging user experience
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to ensure seamless workflow process, and to support all promotions and campaigns, new and ongoing programs and events, and partner with other departments to ensure requirements are met and executed in a timely fashion
  • Provide insights to the Marketing team to drive content development and product merchandising/promotions to grow product revenue and user share

 

Amazon Seller Central:

  • Through application of Amazon’s best practices, this role is responsible for ensuring all brands and product listings are optimally and consistently represented from a visual, pricing and content standpoint on Amazon globally and within Bravado
  • Work with the Marketing team to ensure product listings are optimized based on current knowledge of Amazon’s platform and search trends
  • Work with internal forecasting and sales colleagues to review ongoing sales against plan and share results and recommendations for improvements internally
  • Develop insights based on ongoing search trends and analysis within our categories with recommendations for ongoing advertising strategies and content development
  • Provide direction to our 3rd party partner on Amazon based on data and results and develop new strategies to improve overall ranking, reviews and conversions
  • Continually monitor reviews/rankings and make recommendations to key internal functional leaders in a timely manner to improve overall Brand health on Amazon
  • Consistently monitor brand and product listings, and report on and manage unauthorized sellers, infringements, etc. to internal Bravado colleagues and Amazon representatives

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education with a specialty in Business Management, Marketing, or Digital Communications
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience managing an e-commerce platform and driving the channel to get results, ideally within the apparel industry
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platform marketing from both a technical, sales and marketing perspective
  • Prior work experience and knowledge of platforms and technology in global markets, or at a minimum in North America
  • Proven results achieving increased traffic, engagement and conversion in owned e-commerce channels
  • Preferred experience managing an Amazon marketplace including setup and management of product listings; pricing, imagery, content for product and detailed pages, promotions, ratings and reviews
  • Experience in building positive online consumer experiences (content and e-commerce) platforms
  • Understanding of search and how to implement search strategies to drive traffic and ultimately conversion
  • Experience working with 3rd party e-commerce partners
  • Experience using digital analysis and using insights to make recommendations for on-line strategies to achieve results
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite skills at an advanced level
  • Proven digital analytical skills
  • Knowledge of online user experience and interface, website usability
