Project Manager, Operations

Role Objective:

At Bravado Designs, our purpose is to inspire every new Mom to breastfeed and help support her to succeed in her breastfeeding journey.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations, this role is all about building strong connections and managing projects within the Bravado Operations team and between Bravado cross-functional partners.

This individual’s primary role will be managing product development projects post-concept to execution. In addition, this individual will be assigned various projects that leverages his/her superior project management skills, such as customer centric projects to meet new or evolving customer requirements, initiatives that require significant coordination with cross functional teams, etc.

Critical thinking, excellent communication skills, collaborative behaviour, practical application and deep project management expertise, ideally in the apparel industry, are the core requirements of this role.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage small and medium size in function projects
  • Lead and manage small to large cross functional projects
  • Document and manage project status, discovery and presentation meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all projects are on track
  • Accountable for meeting all project milestone deadlines and deliverables
  • Track and manage workflow
  • Master the Stage Gate and Product Development Processes at Bravado
  • Manage 3-5 initiatives concurrently

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education preferably with a PMP certificate
  • 5-7 years proven track record in project management in the apparel industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills gleaning insights to make recommendations for improved performance to meet timelines
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced skills using Project Management software
